But François Beiger's world  does't end there...

" The writing, the photography, the film, fascinate me since very for a long time. To make(do) conferences is a means to make share my journeys, my expeditions, my numerous experiences (experiments).

"But it is also the means to make discover the history of the autochtonous peoples of Canada and moreover. To make sensitive people in the nature, in the fauna without making(doing) of the nombrilism as certain Adventurers of the Spectacle who do not respect the environment and the peoples "

He is also an author!

Picture My book published in 1996 "11 chiens, un homme, une passion" the dream found in Quebec, had a very great success near the public. It is a book which recalls my adventures lived in the heart of Quebec among the trappers and the Indians of the tribe of Atikamekws.

1999 I published the book "Nunavik 99" with the meeting of Inuit in sledge with my dogs. This account recalls my expedition in the Arctic on 2800 kilometers with my 16 dogs, during 82 days spent on the ice-barrier and the tundra.

"La Route de Nimipi"
Images height the head, Tom embarks with its dogs for Canada. Over there, it(he) meets an Amerindian, Charlie, who is going to pull(entail) him(it) in an adventure where the daily is going to show itself at the same moment harder and more exalting....
" Suddenly, a long roaring again comes to drill the silence of the taiga. Our glances cross themselves. Charlie shakes the head in sign of permission, as to say to me: It is on the island, but where?
I understand fast that he speaks about the wolf in .......

"La Vallée des Caribous"
Tom joined the north extreme of Quebec, there where begins the arctic tundra. It is next(goes alongside) now to the people Inuit. It gets fast on with Putujialuk and decides to accompany him in a fascinating but precarious adventure Putujialuk boils a piece of quite cool meat, as to celebrate the hunting. A strong smell rises in the hut. Some vapor invades panes.
Then in the biggest peace, he begins to tell us histories of his people..

RivSnom "La Rivière sans Nom" .
Together with Mary, a young Amerindian and of her big father Louis, Tom the nameless River in boat goes down to join the Bay Nemio. It is the time of Goose Break. The Big assembling of the Amerindians to go to hunt outardes (wild goose) in spring. A journey full of intrigues, new developments and tenderness.

When, in 1997, I decided to organise the expedition « NUNAVIK 99 », to meet with the Inuits on their dogsleds, one of my first preoccupations was to equip myself with a parka that would protect me from blizzards, snow storms, wind, and temperatures that could go below 50 degrees Celsius.

I knew the reputation of the outfit Metro Sportswear that manufactures excellent snow goose down filled parkas under the brand name
"CANADA SNOW GOOSE"
